From policy evaluation reports to accounts of mid-century intellectual debates, Alejandro Ponce de Léon is an enthusiast of compelling stories. A Colombian based in Northern California, his research and writings are situated in the intersection of cultural sociology and Science and Technology Studies (STS); focusing on how everyday lived experiences inform our politics. Alejandro studied Political Sciences and Cultural Studies at Universidad de Los Andes (Colombia). He also holds an MA in Sociology from the University of Texas at Austin, and he is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Cultural Studies at the University of California, Davis. Alejandro enjoys biking in the mornings, having a good cup of coffee, and contributing to different literary and artistic projects in his home country.
