From policy evaluation reports to accounts of mid-century intellectual debates, Alejandro Ponce de Léon is an enthusiast of compelling stories. A Colombian based in Northern California, his research and writings are situated in the intersection of cultural sociology and the digital humanities; focusing on how we live and experience politics as part of our everyday practices. Alejandro studied Political Sciences and Cultural Studies at Universidad de Los Andes (Colombia). He also holds an MA in Sociology from the University of Texas at Austin, and he is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Cultural Studies at the University of California, Davis. Alejandro enjoys biking in the mornings, having a good cup of coffee, and contributing to different news outlets in his home country.
